Summary

When life hands you demons, it’s time to make a little destruction.

I thought I wanted to know what I was. Now that I’ve discovered the answers aren’t so pretty, it turns out there are no take backs.

The most powerful monsters in existence fear this one mortal thief. Unfortunately, that means they’re set on stamping out my existence. The demon who was my strongest ally has been caught in the middle, his freedom and his life on the line.

And that’s before we get into the genocidal psycho who’s about to unleash a catastrophe that could destroy both our worlds all by itself.

I have my work cut out for me, even with my monstrous lovers by my side. Can I become the champion of my darkness, or will it consume me instead?

Either way, it’s going to be one hell of a ride.

Dark Champion is the fourth and final book in the Flirting with Monsters series. If you love kickass heroines with sass to spare, drool-worthy monsters who have their own sense of morality, and steamy romances where there'll be no choosing required, dive in now!

Plenty of action

The end of a series always brings mixed emotions. This one had plenty of action, answers and gasping moments. It is sad to say goodbye to these characters but I am happy to see a flash forward at the end of the book!

Really disappointed!!

I found it hard to complete this book. I skipped to the end halfway through as it was really boring. The ending was disappointing too. I love the the first three books, it’s a shame this one wasn’t as good. Saying that Vanessa Moyen and Aiden Snow were fantastic and made it bearable

A champion of an ending

Wow what a story. Book 4 and the end of a series . This ending will have you glued and your waiting to see what will happen next to our team, Sorcha and her mates . Sorcha and her monsters get closer if that is even possible. They all have a tall order to do , find and destroy the Shadow kind . Lots of Action and what everyone likes a very happy ending . Vanessa Moyen, Aiden Snow Performance is great. They did this story Justice. Their voices brought the characters to life.

Perfect Conclusion

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review. Absolutely nailed this ending like couldn’t ask for it to end more perfectly! Eva Chase has most certainly made another amazing series I’ve immensely enjoyed and am kind of sad to see ending. I don’t want to say too much here as I might give too much away but definitely one you need to give a chance!

She can be a monster if she needs to be

Sorsha is soooooo not happy to discover herself in a dark, damp place chained to a lumpy bed with her hellhound, shadowkind lover staring at her. She does finally get to find out about Omen's servitude to the shadowkind's Highest. He can finally be free of them if he just takes her to them and drops her off to her death. When Thorn shows up and is willing to fight his boss to save her, she can't bear to see either of them hurt and tells Omen she will go willingly to the Highest. He decides that maybe if they can defeat his old pal Tempest that maybe the Highest will leave her alone. No pressure. Sorsha and her allies will have to use all their tricks to try to stop the Sphinx's plans to kill off both humans and shadowkind. Sorsha fights to keep her fire under control so she doesn't inadvertently make the dire prediction made about her come true but if it means keeping her guys safe, she is not afraid to burn the world down. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Ahhh that ending made me so happy!!

I think this book had one of the best endings/epilogues I have read/listened to all year. I haven't been so satisfied, its not even funny haha. I absolutely loved this series, one of my favorite over the last 2 years if I am being honest. I am definitely gonna get these in paperback as well, loooove them so much! I think for me the humor really brightened up my day when our world has had so many dark moments (yes, this is a book about monsters but it is so much more than that). I did love the darkness though too. I will say there were a couple superfluous side scenes/moments that I am not sure were necessary, but that didn't detract from the overall amazing way this story was wrapped up. I am not going to get anything away but Sorsha totally kicked the baddies to kingdom come, she grows more and her relationship between her monsters becomes even stronger, more adorable, and more heated. Amazing job, Eva, I can't say much more without giving stuff away. In terms of the narration, again great job to Vanessa and Aiden. I think Aiden's voices lends him to epitomize the monsters and some of the other side characters. I think Vanessa brings the snark and makes me believe and laugh at all the jokes and awkward moments with Sorsha and mostly Snap and the side characters haha. If you love them in other performances, you will love this series. Great selection for these audiobooks ❤️ I did sit on my couch when I finished yesterday and thought wow....that was a fantastic series, I couldn't improve it/ask for anything more. Might have a book hangover, buuuut totally worth it haha.

Absolutely Perfect

Oh my goodness! This series conclusion is absolutely perfect! We see Sorsha and her Monsters take down the baddies and find their happily ever after! The guys get to put to rest some issues that were lingering from their pasts and reading their point of views just makes you fall for them even more. I loved seeing the true devotion and emotional depths that this group dynamic contained. They made this work even with all of their vastly different personalities. No relationship is perfect and having to please several guys could easily daunt any woman. Sorsha proves that she's up for any adventure or challenge her men could throw her way. This is one entertaining series that you'll find hilarious and heartwarming!

Fantastic Finale

This was the last of the series with Sorcia and her Shadow Kind companions. I really loved this series, it was packed full with action, steam, and some other worldly magic, all of my favorite things! I loved the characters and how well the story was written. I would highly recommend this series!
