Summary

Can love save a soul? Cassandra Griman was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. She'd stayed out at the bars until last call, and on her way home was cornered in an alleyway by four men. That night might have been her last...until she was saved by an angel. But first impressions aren't everything, and Cassandra soon realizes that the captivating woman who saved her life is no angel. In fact, Elle is a powerful vampire who was exiled from Boston fifty years ago. But Elle has returned now to exact revenge. And Cassandra is caught in the middle of it. Elle is cruel and has a very dark past, but despite everything, Cassandra feels herself drawn to the mesmerizing vampire. Is there more to Elle than meets the eye, or is Cassandra falling for a woman far past saving?

Brilliant storyline

I really enjoyed this vampire book with a difference. I wasn’t sure that it would work when I read the blurb, but I was pleasantly surprised. If anything the chemistry between these characters was so much hotter than what I’ve read before. Absolutely fantastic performance from Lynn.

Difficult to finish

While I love the knight series and quite a few of her werewolf stories I’m just not feeling pretty much all of Bridget Essex’s vampire stories. The main character is whiny and there is just too much inner dialogue. I feel like main character goes in circles over and over again about things the reader/listener should already comprehend. The overall story line left a lot to be desired.

had potential

I've said it before I'll say it again. Lynn Devereux incredible. this story was great except it was so rushed. the end was so unsatisfactory. I was incredibly disappointed. but if Bridget Essex comes back with a bang on another story of these two I'm down. can't imagine how busy she is. we keep wanting more and more.

she needs to use Lynn in all her audiobooks. I love her voice

Totally worth it !

I totally became engulfed in this book. I was sad when it was over, cause it feels unfinished between the two vampires. I hope there is a book 2. I listened to the book with my headphones. This made me feel more apart of the story then if I would have read it from a book.

Disappointing

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Don't know.

What did you like best about this story?

Nothing.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lynn Devereux?

She was alright.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No.

Any additional comments?

I was just disappointed, I waited for the climax but it never came.
