At dusk on the eve of Good Friday, Dante and Virgil embark on a journey that will lead Dante to Heaven where a contentment with God will be found and his beloved Beatrice awaits. This terrific dramatization by Roger Elsgood of Dante's timeless classic is brought to life with a stellar cast - not only the great, late Corin Redgrave, but Alex Jennings, Laurie Anderson, and the God of Hellfire himself - Arthur Brown together with a specially composed score by the legendary Scanner add a depth of character to this story of a search for a lost love and a quest for eternal redemption. Wonderful.
