Summary

This original and refreshingly different dramatisation follows Dante, "lost in a dark wood", who is met by Virgil, who takes him on a tour of the underworld: a place he could end up if he decides to take his own life. Corin Redgrave is the voice of Dante.

Superb dramatisation of a classic text.

This terrific dramatization by Roger Elsgood of Dante's timeless classic is brought to life with a stellar cast - not only the great, late Corin Redgrave, but Alex Jennings, Laurie Anderson, and the God of Hellfire himself - Arthur Brown together with a specially composed score by the legendary Scanner add a depth of character to this story of a search for a lost love and a quest for eternal redemption. Wonderful.

Far too short

The narration was good but overall it felt very rushed. Would have benefitted from more detail
