Summary

This true story of the life and death of J. Bear Marler, and his wife, Marie, who became known as "Lady Bear" or "Mama Bear", will tug at your heart, make you believe in forever, and give you hope.

Marie (Marler) McGaha is an author, editor, and owner of Dancing With Bear Publishing, a Christian publishing company named in honor of her late husband, Bear. The first addition of this book won 2nd place in the memoir category in the Sharp Writ Book Awards, sponsored by Mensa. Marie is remarried to Nathan McGaha and couldn't be happier. "Life doesn't always turn out like we think it's supposed to. But as long as we live our lives dependent upon God and a relationship with Jesus Christ, we will become all we can be. And we'll be happy. Even though I never thought of life without Bear, and sometimes still miss him so much, I can't imagine my life without Nathan. God knew who I needed and when, and I will always be thankful to my Lord and Savior for all He has done for me. The Bible says to whom much is forgiven, much is expected - I will never be able to repay what the Lord has done for me, but I will spend the rest of my life trying," Marie says.
