The pitfalls and problems you encounter when building a dental chain or a DSO is described here. It’s impressive how Emmet has a managed to put this many pieces of gold into one book for others to avoid the same mistakes or at least be prepared when they happen. There are things from issues related to scaling, how to finance, how to hire the right executives, choosing the right partners, etc. I read a lot of titles and most are not dental titles. This one is especially good for DSO’s but as well for other companies growing from a few stores into chains. It applies to outside the US as well (I’m from Denmark and has worked in the UK as well). I cannot recommend this book enough.
