Serious Disease

This book described my wife which got me nervous. This book's journey of how this disease can affect a person and their family is great! I believe this book is needed for teenagers nowadays who have some symptoms. Sometimes, we as parents, don't know what to say to our kids, this book will let them know that they are not alone and that getting help doesn't make you weak. I recommend this book as a story and information on the subject.

Ray of Hope!

If there's anyone suffering from Anorexia, my friend this audio book is for you! It has such hopeful and calm strategies to overcome the situation. Fun fact it has plenty of exercises to help you stay firm. The author has perfectly described her journey with helping teens to overcome the physical and emotional challenges that come with anorexia. I liked listening to this book as made me realize the problems of people around me and provided me with better understanding of what is eating disorder. I recommend this empathetic story with amazing information! Highly recommended!

Very informative and helpful

Very informative audiobook for helping young teens girls understand and aid in the various mental and physical challenges they may be going through. Most adult often look at teenage problems as nothing significant, however to the teenage girl that is the biggest issue she is dealing with at that current stage of her life where adult needs to recognise this with as much important as they would with any other life problem they deem significant. This Audiobook is a breath of fresh air for those teenagers as they can related to also every scenario and the best thing is that they have help and guidance through this audiobook to build and overcome the mental and physical challenges

An insightful family book.

This is an extreme detailed book and a real eye-opener into the mounting pressures teens endure via social media/society regarding body image. Every single parent should read this book and watch-out for early signs. There are lots of really helpful strategies to aid recovery and to improve mindset.
I also found the chapter on family dynamics particularly insightful.
I have learned to explore and monitor my own behaviours and attitudes about food around my family. The author provide a really practical, comprehensive and compassion guide to provide greater awareness for sufferers and their family.

Insightful and helpful!

This is a great book for any teen going through an eating disorder and also for caregivers of those struggling with this disease. The information included was well written and empathetic.
What I enjoyed the most were the ways to improve self-esteem through self-reflection. This is such an important step when trying to overcome an eating disorder.

For anyone who is struggling with their diet or suffering with anorexia, this book would give you all the information you need to manage this disease. Great Information

I like how this topic is told, explained and the many solutions one can develop when dealing with someone who suffers from this condition. This book is not only a truly excellent resource for sufferers of anorexia- it is also a practical tool for their family and friends. It has excellent information about ways to improve self-esteem, tips to eat full meals three times a day without feeling guilty, and many more. "Believe in yourself."

When a girl enters into her teens she starts to compete with others in such a way that she begins to suffer with tensions including anorexia nervosa. This eating disorder causes them to eat in small quantities so that they can confident themselves about not gaining weight.


But this syndrome causes you to develop some other negative impacts on you and so you start to feel depressed. The writer wrote this book to overcome this syndrome.
