When two schoolboys are stabbed on the way to school, a double murder investigation begins. Knife crime is a growing concern across the UK and the press focus on the investigation. Macy Bray, age 14 vanishes. The only clue is that witnesses reported hearing a scream in the darkness. Was Macy connected to the ongoing investigation or is something even more sinister in play?

This was my favourite book of the series so far, there was a lot of depth in this one, a lot of characters linked and connected to each other, neither good nor bad, very genuine flawed characters that I really found myself rooting for/against, I found myself impatient to carry on the story.

Best story yet
