Wed him. Bed him. Slit his throat.

I killed the king. Crowned myself in his blood, but the curse still festers.

To break it, I need Death, on his knees, a ring on his finger. My blade at his throat.

The god fights me to the grave, evades my touch, mocks my wanting.

He would rather tear himself apart than let me close enough to end this. But I didn't come this far to lose. I came to crown him mine.

Welcome to your wedding, my love.

This series was just incredible, it was beautiful and devastating at the same time. I will definitely be looking at other books she wrote

I AM NOT OKAY 😭😭😭

Two amazing books , read both in the order designed. It’s a tear jerker but so much more than that. Book one is a dark romance with a curse that has to be broken

The ending broke me

Its "you'll be my undoing" but instead of a MC saying it, Liv actually writes it to the worst darkness of its definition, till it's undeniable.
Desperation to defeat concepts that rule us all, only to learn to love them for their beauty. Taking the best and worst most beautiful experiences of my life and writing them in ways my heart could never, highlighting all the details that passed too quickly to memorise. Liv, I sincerely thank you for this beautiful art.

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (and five extra stars for the emotional damage).
Narration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Crown Me Yours is one of the most emotionally devastating books I've ever read. I expected a dark fantasy romance, but what I got was a haunting story about love, grief, sacrifice, and what it truly means to choose someone despite knowing heartbreak is inevitable. The sequel continues Elara and Vale's story with incredible emotional depth, balancing gothic atmosphere, romance, and heartbreaking character growth.

Liv Zander's writing is lyrical and beautiful, making even the darkest moments feel meaningful rather than shocking for the sake of it. The chemistry between the characters is intense, but it's their emotional connection that stole my heart. Watching them fight for each other while confronting impossible choices had me completely invested.

This isn't a light read. The book explores heavy themes like death, loss, and grief, so definitely check the content warnings before diving in. But if you're looking for a romance that will make you feel everything—from hope to heartbreak—this book delivers.

The ending absolutely wrecked me in the best way. It was bittersweet, unforgettable, and stayed with me long after I finished the last page. It's the kind of story that reminds you love is beautiful because it's fragile, and that message hit me harder than I expected.

If you enjoy dark fantasy romance with gorgeous prose, unforgettable characters, and an emotional payoff that will leave you in tears, Crown Me Yours is a must-read. Just have tissues nearby!

love isn't beautiful because it lasts. and i am not okay 😭

I've already read this book but wanted to listen to it as soon as it came out on audiobook, I'm not sure if it feels more emotional because I know what's coming or because the narrators - especially Jacci Prior - do such an amazing job of telling the story, portraying the characters and everything these books are, I'm going to revise my 6⭐rating given on finishing reading it to infinity ⭐'s because it's quite simply one of the most beautiful books I've ever had the pleasure of reading and listening to, I don't want to go in to too much detail as I wouldn't want to spoil the books for anyone and I think it will touch everyone differently anyway, for me it's heartbreaking, raw and hopeful, with such a beautiful and unique way of looking at love and loss, it's a book I will never forget.
