Summary

Her father missing, 14-year-old Claudia Kobb is sent to be raised by a reclusive wizard and notorious outlaw, her grandfather, who has lived well beyond his mortal lifespan by way of a magical serum that bestows longevity.

great first book....gets your right involved early

great first book....gets your right involved early in the chapters....the characters are written really well and you get to know them very quickly.
a good amount of action as well as creating a story line.
also lets you know the history which leads up to the story the writer is creating.
looking forward to book number two 🙂
