Summary

History isn't always what it seems....

Twelve months after his change, Alec MacAidan is still getting used to his many vampire talents. While most vampires would give anything to have more than one supernatural power, Alec craves nothing more than peace and time alone with Cronin. But when Alec meets entities from outside this realm, he's left powerless in their presence.

Zoan are half-lycan, half-dragon creatures that have slipped through time and reality, seemingly undetected by man and vampire. Or have they? They bear an uncanny resemblance to gargoyles, leaving Alec's view on all things weird to get a whole lot weirder.

This new quest leads Alec, Cronin, and their band of friends to Paris, Rome, and Moscow, where they learn that gargoyles aren't simply statues on walls. In the underground pits beneath churches all over the world, Alec discovers the Key's true destiny. Facing the Zoan might take every talent he has. And he may need help from the dead to get them all out alive.

Fabulous

A wonderful book made AWESOME by Joel Leslie's incredible narration. So many different voices and accents all easily distinguishable. I sobbed over Horhae and Idelmo, more than when I read it myself. This series is so very recommended!

I don't want it to be over!

This has been an awesome series. I hope N. R. will consider continuing it. I know she has other brilliant books. Cronin and Alec just grabbed at my heart. I love their entire team.

Why does it have to end???

I don't want to say good-bye to this series. I'm finding it hard to let Alec and Cronin, Jodis and Eiji, Cole, Kennard, Jorge, and the rest of the vampires go, I've been so invested in them all. Listening to the end of this book on my drive to work was a bad, bad, bad idea. I was a slobbering, blubbering mess. Oh Ms. Walker, how you killed me with this one.
Such an amazing end to what was truly a fantastic series.

Joel Leslie was phenomenal. There were times I honestly couldn't believe he was voicing every one of the characters, they were all so unique and perfect! I was completely blown away by his performance.

These are books I will definitely listen to again and again.

Good story, but.....

The story line is different from most vampire themes. Each character has special skills and the main character has many, but I don’t think that it was necessary to have the explicit homosexual activity in the book, it really doesn’t add to the story. I pushed pass those parts as I found it annoying.

Wow!!!What an adventure

This is the third installment in the series of Cronin's Key and my favorite. It has so much action, love and of course the likens....The characters get some more depth to them and the love story that ties every thing together get a happy ending after all...Hope they do another book, but not sure how it could be better than the first three.
