Wow!! Nicky narrates her own story and you can just feel the power of her story and her experiences flowing through. A deeply personal account of her life, her career, her achievements and many totally absorbing, and at times disturbing, stories of crisis negotiation. This book is unafraid in showing the darker side of life and human tragedy, but is also fuelled with the strength and courage of human kindness, understanding, compassion and the determination of some to never give up. A fabulous book that had me in tears more times than I can count. Sometimes tears of sadness and sometimes tears of wonder at the resilience and beauty of human nature. Highly recommended
