Not quite as good as some other the other books in the series but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Good book, would recommend if you enjoyed the earlier stories.The previous ones aren't vital, but do help a lot to understand the characters.

The Kept Woman (#8) is my favourite in the series, and the best standalone which doesn't force you to read the ones before.

yes but Karin slaughter is really good.

amanda and Everalin she was they were some of the main characters.
Also Sarah and will.

Have you listened to any of Jennifer Woodward’s other performances? How does this one compare?

she was great as the narrator. No, i have not listened to this narrator before.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

the storyline was great.
there were no emotional scenes really.

Wow, wow and wow again. I'm not going to spoil this book for all the future Karin Slaughter - Criminal readers, but I just couldn't put this book down. It was excellent. The Narrator was awesome too.
