Summary

For six years Anya Korbin worked with Del-Rey Delgato—the genetically altered rebel known as the Coyote Ghost—to free a group of coyote women kept in her father’s lab. As Anya matured into a woman, she and Del-Rey grew close…but then he broke his promise and killed her father. Now she must deal with her animalistic desire for the one who betrayed her.

OMG......I love this book!

This is one of the best books in the series. I actually cried reading this book, not only because of misunderstanding between Del-Ray and Anya but between Anya and her friends and the breeds she rescued. Not a book you can put down.

One of the best breeds novels

This book in the series was by far was the most emotional and well developed love stories of the breeds stories. I felt and believed the emotion and agony of the main characters. Some of Leigh's books just contain filler between the sex scenes, this one was far better written and the erotic scenes were an evolution of the story and as always the love scenes are well written although very graphic, for those who enjoy the more subtle romance stories, this may not be your cup of tea.

GREAT STORY !!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I like the story. It had it all. Concern for family, concern for the mission, concern for each other even though they tried to hide it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Coyote's Mate?

The most memorable was the end. A Breed finally recognized the worth of his mate and went on his knees for her. I get that the Breeds are dominant, but it gets boring time after time how they show their dominence.

What aspect of Brianna Bronte’s performance would you have changed?

This time, nothing. Since mostly everyone was foreign the accents and the voices were different from all the other previous breeds.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A love unrecognized, will it have time to devlope or will death win in the end?

Any additional comments?

I think that this story was nicely devloped and the story line was not rushed.

Love the Book…Hate the Narrator

This is probably my favorite Breed novel so I was super excited to try it out on Audio. Boy was I let down. The narrator was so boring and most of the time I’m able to move past the fact that the voices don’t match what I had in my head or they don’t emphasize what I personally think should be. But come on man she couldn’t even get the heroine’s name pronounced correctly. I didn’t finish chapter 3 it was so bad. Would LOVE to see this re-recorded. Potentially with a male and female.

Loved the book and author but not the narrator

Love Lora Leigh's work and the Breed series in particular. I find I prefer the books that have both male and female narrators. My biggest issue with this woman is that she can manage a Russian accent and can't manage to pronounce Anya. Not rocket science.

Del Gado's voice leaves a lot to be desired

It's time to have add a male voice to balance the excellent female voice of Brianna Bronte. BB's male voice leaves me wanting something male, something strong, something raw and rough.

Loved story, but couldn't finish bc audio

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Love this story. I've read it 15 times. Wanted the audio to listen to running around the house. Couldn't even get past cht 4. Will be returning

Who was your favorite character and why?

Anya bc of her overcoming her past

What didn’t you like about Brianna Bronte’s performance?

Some women just do not need to try and play an alpha male she made Delray sound like a little weasel. The story was told in an American accent and Anya sounded like a really bad Russian soap opera. I understand that Anya it's supposed to be foreign but it was so over-the-top. It was distracting

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Coyote's Mate?

I don't know that I could cut anything
