I loved the dynamic between them! This book is a quick and entertaining ride that sets the stage for Alexander's journey to becoming the legend we know, and the witty banter and unique world-building are just chef's kiss. It’s got that perfect mix of adventure, humor, and a delicious hint of slow-burn romance that left me wanting more!

🎧 And the narration by Shay James? He absolutely crushed it! He has a smooth, engaging voice that brought the whole world to life and made me feel like I was right there with the characters. His performance was skilled and entertaining, making this a truly fantastic listen! 🤩

Loved this back story.
There was enough mystery to the story as went along, that there were some surprises even to me. I did like the brothers banter - I laughed out loud at some of it. It was also light enough to be good for reading whilst unwell - it didn't need any in-depth remembrance of plot or character. That might be more related t my usual reading list though. I look forward to more in this series.
