Dre Owens life changes after he graduates high school. His childhood home catches on fire. After the disaster, he and his mom Nicole have no choice but to relocate to Indianapolis.
With aspirations to open a business someday, all he has to do is stay with his aunt and cousin for a few months before he heads off to college in California. Those few months do not go smooth. He ends up running into a few obstacles, thanks to his cousin, and has to find a way to recuperate.
