The people of my planet are under a devastating genetic curse. To treat the disease’s effects, we’ve turned to cultivating a rare flower. That’s my occupation: raising and studying this flower. That’s precisely what I’m doing the daycycle that an alien drops into our research plot, approaches our plant….

And cuts my flower’s head off, stealing the bloom.

Note: This 37K standalone story is intended for listeners 18+ due to romantic elements. There is no cheating. There is a happily ever after, because this is a sci-fi retelling of Beauty and the Beast--you have to have an HEA. (There is, however, no singing cutlery.)

Important Note II: No unicorns were harmed in the making of this story.

very unique amongst this genre.
its strange to only get 1 pov when im used to 2, but I do like it as it makes it more interesting and funny.
The characters are well defined. This is a proper monster/alien romance too, which i really enjoyed 😉
it is a bit short but also its paced well and I would rather it was a bit shorter and not boring in places as sone authors seem to drag books out just to make them a certain length.
voice actors voice is pleasing and he does the book well.

different in a good way

If you are looking for hot aliens, look elsewhere, but nevertheless this one had with its slow burn truly satisfying spice scene. 😉 Loving the perspective how story was told on alien point of view. Funny and sweet, well written story. (Extra points from laboratory and biology science, me being a laborant I find them familiar and interesting.) Only minus would be it was too short.

Sweet and spicy actual monster/alien romance
