About this listen

Contagious Optimism is an uplifting book of stories and parables about amazing life turnarounds. A compendium of encouragement, it includes advice and guidance from business leaders, visionaries, and just plain folk. Nowadays, many people have lost confidence in themselves and the world around them due to personal hardship as well as economic and political uncertainty worldwide. Contagious Optimism offers listeners the possibility to look for and find silver linings. This is pure inspiration that will lift hearts, open minds, and create a movement of pass-it-on hope and happiness.

Featured in this audiobook are stories and endorsements from such "contagious optimists" as Michael Beckwith, founder of Agape International, the single largest interfaith church in America; Nancy Ferrari, the "Oprah of AMRadio;" and Daniel P. Tully, CEO emeritus of Merrill Lynch.

Impossible is nothing

I'm seriously bored trying to work my way through this.

I'm already quite an optimistic person, and was therefore quite optimistic about this book uplifting me even more.

So, the last thing I expected was to hear optimism delivered in such a monotone, mundane and boring way!

I'm still trying to get through it, so have set the playback speed to 1.1 to aid me a little, but it's just making me want to nod off.

Most boring book on optimism, ever! Yawn!
