Consumed by Sara Fields is a Standalone Dark Paranormal Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Meghan Kelly. This is the second book of Sara’s that I have read and she did not disappoint. I highly enjoyed the twists in the story, it kept me highly engaged and wanting to know how it ends. The book does include rough, intense sexual scenes and strong BDSM Themes.

Meghan did an amazing job narrating and using different voices for Kassandra and Markos. She is very talented and always leaves me wanting more. This is the third book I have listened to that she has narrated and she never leaves me disappointed.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes Dark Romances, Paranormal Romance, and Alpha Males.

I can honestly say that this book had a very unique story. It was intense. It was also very short and sweet. I honestly wish I could say that this is the type of book that I could have gotten invested in fully. However, to say so would be a lie. I wasn't really into this book at all. It was a nice book. It just wasn't the book for me.

There are some critiques I have about this book. I won't get into it too much because I don't want to ruin the book for other potential readers. For one, there's just a part that makes no sense to me. The main character is CIA if I'm not mistaken but the way she acts just screams contradiction. The rest is that there are a lot of places where it jumps and it gets confusing.

The narrator did a great job though. This has great potential. It's just not something I would pick up and read again.

It took me a little time to settle into this audiobook. I'm not sure if the story is written slow or whether it's just the pace that Meghan Kelly was narrating at. I did know who was who just through listening rather than being told which is a great advantage.

The story itself intrigued me. I wasn't quite sure where it was going or where it was going to end up. I had a few theories that I carried till they got shot down, lol. To be honest I would have liked it to continue on just a smidge as it felt unfinished where it ended up. I wanted to know more how they would carry on.

This book is named perfectly, if you love your dark books darker than dark this will consume you! It’s raw and gritty with so much going on. There are triggers so if you have any don’t read it, but otherwise enjoy! Meghan is brilliant as usual.
