It was lovely to watch Joe planning with all the different couples.
Joe and Lachlan meet again unexpectedly at a wedding in Scotland. And how do you deal with each other when you are forced to spend time together? There's plenty of time, because the hotel is snowed in. But read for yourself!
The author has written wonderful secondary characters - I found the mother-in-law amusing.
The story is entertaining and I liked the setting. I enjoyed the stubborn main protagonists and all the sophisticated people made me smile. Lily Morten has written a heartwarming and heated romance.
Joel Lesly is a fantastic narrator who once again delivered a great performance. He brought the story to life with his multiple voices. Lily Morton and Joel Lesley are a wonderful combination.

The story is full of this author's trademark wit and charm, with quirky characters and two ever so endearing leads but it's also chock full of miscommunication. And as we don't see the 4 months after they get married we only have Joe's remembrances to guide our thought process on who is to blame. It seemed ser up to paint Loclan as the bad guy in the relationship and yet in their time together presplit he had managed to charm Rafferty sufficiently that he was subsequently willing to help Loclan with his plan to get a second chance with Joe.
Another enjoyable performance by Joel Leslie on the audiobook.

Hilarious, we meet Joe, the Wedding Planner and his ex-husband Lachlan.
Some of the best characters were the mother-in-laws, hilarious.
It is brilliantly written as normal, full of laughter and a great story.
The characters have depth, and so does the story, which is all helped along by an outstanding narration by Joel Leslie, but I did speed up the narration to 1.20 on audible.
Well worth a listen. I would highly recommend it.
