Really pleased to see this in audiobook format. It’s another way to enjoy this superb series. The narrator does a pretty good job. Her male voices are great. I often forgot it was a female narrator. A couple of things jarred initially with me. I had completely imagined Zachary with a different accent so was surprised to hear a regional accent applied to him. I also thought Tamara was pronounced different, as in Ta-MA-ra. Instead we got TA-ma-ra. I eventually got used to it and enjoyed the rest of the narration.

It is some time since I originally read this book.

Listening to the story It was just as good as I remembered, and the narrator did an excellent job of voicing the various characters to match how I had imagined them.

Vanessa Nelson is an amazing author so happy her books are on audible. Her series are all different with amazing world building and pure adventure with a smattering of romance.
