Listener received this title free

Maxime J Durand has been one of my favourite recent authors with gems like Perfect Run and Vainqueur the Dragon, so it's a bit of a change to read a strict fantasy. This said his attention to detail and consideration of the world and magic is present in this as is in the rest of his work.
Commerce Emperor is a solid fantasy with an interesting focus on the hero being a merchant rather than a knight. I eagerly await the next in the series.
