Summary

Depuis le massacre perpétré par le Hamas le 7 octobre 2023 en Israël, l’auteur, comme tant d’autres, a vu son monde s’effondrer. Elle, dont la mission consiste à porter sur ses épaules la souffrance d’autrui et à la soulager par ses mots, se trouve soudain en état de sidération.

Dans la stupeur, elle écrit alors ce petit traité de survie qui interroge ses fondements existentiels.

Le texte est composé de dix conversations, réelles ou imaginaires : avec sa douleur, avec ses grands-parents, avec la paranoïa juive, avec Claude François, avec les antiracistes, avec Rose, avec ses enfants, avec ceux qui lui font du bien, avec Israël, avec le Messie.

Sa manière si particulière d’entrelacer l’intime et l’universel, l’exégèse des textes sacrés et l’analyse de la société, la gravité et l’humour, transforme progressivement le déchirement en réparation, la fièvre en force et le doute en espoir.
