Boring and slow

I struggled to finish this book, it was very slow. The plot was okay, just draw out. I think the worst for me was the person reading it. She had no emotion our inflection, felt like she was reading a text book. Her voice was nice and she spoke clearly, but she was wrong for this genre.

It was great could have been better

Even though I did like the book and the story line. I was a little disappointed with the the voice I think that she sounded to much older than the 19 year old the character was. I would still recommend this book , even though that part I didn't like.

Should have read the book

The narration is terrible, like listening to a Robo caller. I have yet to finish listening to the book, since I keep rewinding parts. This was due to my mind focusing so much on how terrible the narration was that I missed what was being said. Why do I continue? I now just want to see how things end for the 19 years old main female character. In my opinion, for this type of storyline, the character's age should have been at least in the mid twenties...

Such a disappointment and hard to get through!!!

While I was excited to see the author would be narrating, it quickly became a major disappointment. Usually an author is so familiar and intimate with their written words that it's a real treat listening but unfortunately her voice was extremely monotone throughout and there was very little change for the multiple characters. :-(
