In eaier books Anna has been fast to judge, fiesty and huge in character, here we see a quieter and more questioning side to her personality. She is still sassy and occasionally feisty, but with far less fire than before, thankfully it's not a complete personality change as she still takes great pleasure in pushing every one of her brothers buttons at almost every opportunity!
We met Hawk in book two and I was alittle unsure of him, but here we get to know him better and we see his insecurities, his protective nature and, despite the fact it terrifies him, his love for Anna.
They may seem like an unusual couple on paper...but they compliment each other perfectly.
A fantastic addition to the series, I really enjoyed Anna and Hawk's journey, and who can resist the gorgeous Pita? Such a cute but mischievous puppy!
