About this listen

She is the perfect assassin.

A Russian orphan, saved from the death penalty for the brutal revenge she took on her gangster father's killers.

Ruthlessly trained. Given a new life. New names, new faces - whichever fits.

Her paymasters call themselves The Twelve. But she knows nothing of them. Konstantin is the man who saved her and the one she answers to.

She is Villanelle. Without conscience. Without guilt. Without weakness.

Eve Polastri is the woman who hunts her. MI5, until one error of judgment costs her everything.

Then stopping a ruthless assassin becomes more than her job. It becomes personal.

This started off well but soon lost its way. The end came before I even thought it had reached a conclusion. I guess it's making us all yearn for book 2!
A few dreadful pronunciation errors really should have been edited out.

Dull, the reader is boring to listen to. If I'd read the book first I wouldn't have watch it on TV. Disappointing !

This is great writing - plot and character. Differs sufficiently from TV series to make it a new and worthwhile experience. Reader is really excellent, my Audible best ever. But so short ! It is a premium book in content and production. But minute per buck makes it premium price too. Also i was disappointed to see in the next volumes someone else takes over as reader. So, I don't think I will continue with the series. Which is a shame, because as this book says at its end, it is really only the start of things.

Fabulously Thin ? 6 hours 48 - bit short measure

An ok story - good to escape real life but had to leave my brain at the door a good few times. Don't get me wrong, that's what action/adventure is for but just don't expect a classic. Suspect it might be better as a TV series

Didn't see the TV version
