This book dives deep into fantasy. It’s like a mix of fantasy and adventure. The Group at 3 months to try to save the world before it it’s destroyed. The time is ticking and they are trying to figure out the code. I would highly recommend this book to those that enjoy fantasy fiction. Definitely a good listen. Will they save the world?

I love the mix of old-school industrial grit and futuristic tech. The pacing is relentless; it felt like I was running right alongside the characters from the first chapter. If you liked the mystery of the first book, you’re going to love how the 'Embers' start to catch fire in this one. The author makes the two relatable but keeps it interesting. I don't like to give spoilers in my reviews, so I won't say what is happening. There are lots of twists in it though. Even ones we don't see sound interesting and unique in their own ways from the way they're described and I look forward to potentially seeing them in the future, or others that haven't been mentioned. The new characters introduced in this book are quality editions, even the ones you're supposed to hate. Old characters make a return to be better fleshed out, and the new ones fit right in with the established crew. Should be interesting to see how the new and returning characters change in the next book. I’m totally in love with the story and I feel like the characters are friends.

I really enjoyed this in audio form. It’s fast paced and a great adventure story. I really enjoyed the twists in the story and was enjoyed the character development from the last book to this one. The narration was great for this one and great overall storyline. I would recommend! I listened to this while working and it helped the work day go by quick!

97 days to avoid destruction. This story is a wonderful fantasy adventure. Awesome new world to explore and escape to. The author does a great job keeping things fast and exciting. Listened to it almost straight through as it's hard to pause.

Codebreaker 2 - Embers and Engines is an entertaining continuation of the Codebreaker Chronicles. I enjoyed the mix of action, progression, fantasy, and game-like mechanics. The story moves at a good pace and keeps things interesting as the characters face new challenges and continue developing.

The audiobook format works well for the fast-moving adventure, making it easy to stay engaged while listening. Fans of LitRPGs should enjoy the combination of progression, world-building, and action. Overall, a fun follow-up that kept me interested from start to finish.
