Summary
Army Capt. Jordan Armstrong surrendered a piece of her soul to the burning sands of Afghanistan. fire
excellent story of SAR Australia search n rescue, of a new start in new country, two lost souls finding each other, and a devastating cyclone threatens to end it all.
new to me, both author and narrator produce a truly wonderful tale.

wow
So this book surprised me on many levels. The characters are really easy to fall in love with and the story wow the story a special at the end is really really good . This book hold me on from beginning till the end , it did manage to make me cry and I was smiling too. Narrator is really good 👍.

I didn’t hate it
The story was pretty good and I was intrigued to see how it ended, but I’m not sure if it was the book or the narrator or both but i found it a bit cringey and over detailed in parts. Characters were pretty good and although there was a few they were well written and the voices were done well and easily defined. Wouldn’t listen again, but didn’t hate it.

Disappointing
The story had lots of potential and there were some nice parts but it was a bit far fetched too. Hugely let down by very poor narration. I will be avoiding her at all costs in future; dreadful accents and very wooden.
