Erika's life is chaotic and got even worse after she started a relationship with Dominic. I felt several emotions while reading this book. There were some points when I just wanted to scream.

Even though I am happy with how the story ended, I found it painfully difficult at some points. I will remember this one for a long time.

What I love about MC books is the camaraderie, the brotherly love and the unbreakable loyalty. The side characters were not likeable, they weren't loyal to the brotherhood and they all were out for personal gain. I just can't see how an MC would work running like this. The rape, sexual abuse drug taking and overall violence against women took all the romance out of it for me. I wouldn't even classify this as romance. I'm so glad I didn't have to waste a credit and this was part of the catalogue. I like dark and steamy and this book just didn't hit the mark for me.

I enjoyed this book, unlike other mc stories this one feels deeper, with interesting plot twists and conflict between love and club.

This has been billed as book 2 of a Kings MC trilogy… IT’S NOT! Instead it’s a completely different story with almost no links to book 1. This book warns about mature themes but neglects to warn readers about potentially triggering themes of violence against women including torture, rape, gang rape and resultant suicide… I won’t be bothering with book 3… the only saving grace is that this one was free!
