Now I want to go back and listen to Death and Destruction again. No scratch that I want to listen to everything I have by Patrica Logan then get everything I don’t yet have and keep on keeping on.

I enjoyed book 1 but Patricia Logan cannot help herself. She needs to have her editor reign her in because she ruins her stories with self indulgence. There were too many gratuitous sex scenes that didn't push the narrative. They went on for ages. it was pointlessly graphic erotica in the middle of what was supposed to be a spy thriller. There was also too much repetition of Damon's past and grief. Patricia, we're on book 2, listeners already know about Damon's past. I had to put sections of this book on x2 to get past the unnecessary content, and the narrators grunting and whimpering was hilarious.
The spy content was great, but overall the story was unbalanced.
