Well performed ….

Excellent actors read these letters etc. very well, and if you are interested in the person who wrote them, and know something about them, they can be quite illuminating. The sound effects seem irrelevant and ‘tacked on’ to me, and one or two of the writers less than riveting in their accounts of their lives, however illustrious they were considered. Perhaps this is telling in itself.
