I’m not sure I quite have the words to describe how incredible this story is! It gripped me from the very start, and I couldn’t stop listening. Lots of unexpected twists and turns throughout, beautifully written and a great performance by the Narrator.

A truly incredible take on a classic fairytale.

I loved this book!!
The plot was solid, and the main characters made you want to fight for them. The love story was realistic and beautifully subtle with the fact that there gay not being the main struggle (which some books overly focus on). This is one of my favourite books to listen to now, and the narration was great.
All around amazing, and I strongly recommend.

Honestly Cinderella is death is an very well structured and unique book. The books dives into the misogynistic views of woman showing you cannot harm woman or anyone because it is wrong. One of my favourite elements was that the main charactors subverted there expections they we lesbian and black which we don't see in books. They didn't follow the rules that were made to keep woman in there place.Overall the classic story of cinderella tells girls they have to have magic or a fairy godmother to be beautiful and have to have a prince to be important. The truth is you do not need a magic wand to be pretty you do not need a boy or man to be important because you already are. Sometimes these traditional fairy tale make you think you have to be perfect man or woman you are enough and this book proves it because when you are yourself and you believe in yourself no matter your gender or what you look like you you cam do anything if you set your mind to it.
