After the doctors failed to help me with the pain in my shoulders, it was time to turn to nature. This is a great book to start with. Everything is very well described.
Although this book is written for athletes, I think it will also help people like me who are physically stressed at work. Today I plan to try one of the recipes, and tomorrow I will buy products for the vegetable smoothies. I recommend this book!

This guy is right on!! I love his totally honest and straightforward presentation of how food affects our health, specifically our joints. The food lists really help, the chapter on shopping is very helpful and the chapter on gluten is SO real.... I wish everybody could understand how food affects our health (probably the most underserved and deeply affected population is the elderly... ). If you want to be healthy in mind and body in old age, read/listen to this book, and DO what is says!!!

Michael’s book has really changed my life for the better! I am an active individual that has really struggled with recovery for most of my life. I’ve had to go through constant physio appointments and miss gym and training sessions due to the pain in my body. Now, everything has changed, I’ve changed my diet and daily routine with the help of this book and I have noticed massive improvements in my performance and recovery. I can actually go to the gym and train as much as I’d like now without having to worry about the pain and expensive physio appointments! Kenneally goes into huge amounts of depth not only in recovery but every aspect of an active lifestyle like diet, breath work, stretching, mentality etc. This book is a really handy summary of all the information that can be found in journal articles and websites from experts, which can be complex and difficult to understand. I would highly recommend this is anyone, even those who are not into training and the gym but want to have a happy healthy life. 5 stars!

As I get older I’m definitely feeling
Those aches and pains more and have suffered from gut problems all of my adult life. I have always stayed for and eat healthily but this book has given me some great tips on foods to avoid, foods that can cause havoc with your body. Well narrated and very interesting

As someone who works out regularly and plays sports leisurely, I try to pay attention to my overall health including what I eat.

I have always known that diet plays a critical role on the fitness and health your body, but never before heard it broken down the way this book has.

It has confirmed a lot of the things I suspected about why I feel inflamed and bloated sometimes and opened my eyes to completely new things I never heard or thought of.

As a bonus the author uses such vivid but funny analogies that it keeps you engaged throughout the book.

Definitely worth the listen.
