Summary

After a hectic summer running her beach café in Cornwall, Evie Flynn is looking forward to her first Christmas with new boyfriend, Ed. But when Ed’s ex suddenly gets in touch again, and some unexpected guests arrive: Ed’s surly brother, Jake, and Evie’s heartbroken best friend, Amber, Evie’s Christmas starts to look as if it’ll be a total turkey. Too short-not value for money

Too short-not value for money

It was a nice short story, but no real depth to follow in Evie's story.

Bit lame

Just a short continuation of the 1st book. Very short. Lacked substance. Very much a disappointment

nice enough short story, narrator could be better

This is more like a long epilogue to the original Beach Cafe novel, I enjoyed it but primarily because I liked the characters and wanted to see what became of them.
But I wish they'd used the original narrator. This one made it heavy and depressing.

Amazing

The Author of these books certainly knows how to write them. I have listened to two now and they are fantastic.

Great Book

this is the second book in the series, it was a lovely uplifting story. only criticism is it's too short. The narrator was great very clear and easy to listen to. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to listened to the next book in the series.

Jingled up bells

A funny little novella which had me laughing out loud. Pleasant enjoyable story which just cruised along and lulls you into a feeling of contentment. Like listen with mother for those who remember

Christmas at the beach cafe

I enjoyed this short story. I am glad that I listened to The Beach Cafe first because it was like meeting old friends and learning how things were working out. I hope there will be further stories in the future.
