A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, he majored in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He is the author of "Choose To Be Happy" Joy Comes from the Lord. In April 2016 Mr. Whitehurst was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis which is deemed an incurable autoimmune disease. But through faith, dietary discipline, and action he was able to regain his health and live a normal lifestyle free of medication.
