I loved the dual narration of Daryl Hix and Gomez Pugh

Grayson used to be a undercover DEA agent. His cover was blown and in hiding staying on Anne's ranch in the cabin. Anne feels the men on her ranch do not take her as seriously as if she were a man. Grayson's protectiveness towards her started the moment he saw her and the feelings are mutual. Grayson's past is now brings the threat to her ranch.

We have action, angst, chemistry, heat, steam and great characters.

Cherished by the Agent is book two in the In Clear Sight Series and is a romantic suspense about Gray, an ex undercover DEA agent who enters witness protection on Anne's cattle ranch. While Anne has been struggling to do everything on her ranch alone with limited help, Gray is more than happy to help pick up the slack. The more time they spend together, the less they are able to resist their attraction to each other.

I enjoyed the build of the relationship between Anne and Gray and I really liked the suspense story line in relation to Gray's past and why he was on Anne's ranch. I did find the story to be somewhat predeictable but I don't feel like it made it any less enjoyable. I enjoyed Gray and Anne's time on the ranch and their chemistry was off the charts. The audibook was highly enjoyable to listen to and Daryl Hix and Gomez Pugh did a great job bringing this story to life. Both were new to me narrators and I enjoyed listening to both. Another great smexy, action packed audiobook by Kennedy L Mitchell. Grayson and Anne are a perfect match and they recognise they were made for each other at first sight. The heart wants what it wants!
Gomez Pugh gives his voice to the brooding Grayson with an outstanding performance; Daryl Hix is Anne and although I really enjoyed Anne as a character I was not a fan of Daryl’s delivery/acting. This was my first audiobook with Daryl Hix narrating so it will be good to listen to more of her work.

This was a steamy romantic suspense listen! Intriguing storyline with wonderful characters with close proximity. I really enjoyed Grayson and Anne and loved how they were open with one another about their wants and just overall had an easy relationship. A good mix of drama and spice that kept my interest throughout.
My first listen with Daryl Hix and her narration was on point as Anne and easy to listen to. Gomez Pugh was a great choice for Grayson and together they made this a very enjoyable listen.

This book is a prime example of why I love Kennedy L Mitchell. She knows how to put together a story with some meat to it, and add in the romance to make to just the right amount of what I love to listen to! Book 2 in her In Clear Sight series, she introduces Grayson and Anne to me. Grayson is an undercover DEA agent, no longer undercover, but hiding for his life. Once discovered, he knew the consequences, but staying on Anne's ranch in the cabin and possibly putting her and the people there is danger is not ideal. Anne is struggling with her craft as the men in the area do not take her as seriously as if she were a man. True or not, it's how she sees it, but that is not what Gray sees. He sees the competent veterinarian and rancher that she is. His protectiveness towards her started the second he laid eyes on her, and the feelings are mutual. But is he the one that brings the threat to her ranch? This story is packed with good and bad people, the question is who to trust. Kennedy weaves a web and it's sticky! But the passion is hot! And the characters amazing! This is a great addition to the series, and is the kind of book that is right up my alley! Loved it!

Daryl Hix and Gomez Pugh bring it all to life with an amazing narration. These two could not have been cast better. It's as if their voices were imagined when Kennedy wrote the book! Hix as Anne comes in with a stubborn, strength that is so true to character! She is feisty and motivated with a fiery passion. Pugh comes in as Gray, a bit hesitant, a lot protective, his instincts are brought to the surface with inflections and nuances. Loved these two and enjoyed the listen.
