If you are looking for a book that can use intelligent ‘slice of life’ humour to make you giggle and feel warm then look no further. The Chedston ladies’ 3’s tale is thrilling and one cannot help but route for them to overcome every hurdle that bureaucracy and technicality can throw at them. I would love to hear how they are getting on now!

A couple of notes about the audiobook: The performance/ delivery is fantastic and the impressions of the characters are spot on and very funny. I had it on 1.2 x speed and it was perfect for me but this is down to personal preference. I would also recommend skipping to ‘Tennis Terms’ before starting week one.
