About this listen

Golden Angel’s Big Bad Bunnies series continues with Chasing His Squirrel the second book in the series. I had not read or listened to book 1 and this worked well as a stand alone with enough background to understand the continuing arc of the story.
I thought Brady and Jessica were a fun couple. Both have strong family ties which plays an important part in the book and series. I thought there was some serious chemistry and the Harry Potter references made me smile.
I must admit the narrator Killian Heilsberg was sometimes hard for me to listen to because of the pitch of her voice but that’s just a personal preference. Check out the sample to decide for yourself.
I was fortunate to receive an audible credit via Audiobook Obsession.

I just adore this fascinating and imaginative world Golden Angel created. It is original, well written and captivating from start to end. The storylines and characters are interesting and complex. It is great how the paranormal shifters are a mix of different animal breeds. I enjoyed the banter and dialogue between the leads, loved how Brady looked out for Jesse and her brother as they worked to get them cured. There is a lot of drama, action, twists and suspense in this story some caused by having the evil Dr. Montgomery in captivity and the Company on their tails. But in addition to all that there is great humor and romance. Golden Angel, thanks for another great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Killian Heilsberg is a terrific narrator and voice performer. She brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for great listen🎧

Loved the story and characters. Interesting plot with hybrid shifters, mad scientist, and an amazing mate story. Unfortunately this narrator was not my favorite, however the story was good.

Book 2 in the series . The author write a story a shifter that most doesn’t venture to . The stories can be listened to as a stand-alone, it’s part of a series .
Hero is Brady. Heroine is Jesse

A doctor experiment on both Jessie and her brother. Both Jessie and Daniel are squirrel shifters with some Tiger DNA mixed in . The doctor , Dr. Montgomery wants to try something because he lost fox-shifter mate to disease . The doctor tries his experiment on both Daniel and his sister Jessie . The experiment didn’t take on Jessie, but because Daniels a teenager the body quickly responds to it .
Jessie finally pulls through, she meets Brady at the clinic, talking. Brady’s family went through the experiment that the doctor is trying to try with Jessie. Brady wants to bring the clinic down but he doesn’t know how to tell Jessie to wait for him and how to tell Jessie his plans .

Killian performance was good . First time I heard her voice , her voice is good. She did the tones great .
