I really appreciate the narrators effort but 'Northern' english accents slid between Scouse, Welsh, Scottish, irish and a bit of dick van dyke but once Sarah/Cassandra went to school it was much easier to listen to. Good start to a new series.

Absolutely loved it! listened to it at least 10 times, still amazing. the story is one of my favourites and the narrator perfects! 100% would recommend.

as a fan of jane jameson/half moon hollow and mustic bayue i've seen this series about for a while, and finaly decided to give it a go.
first up - so far there are no sexy bits but there is some gruesome parts if you want to introduce teens to Molly's work this could be a good start.
second - the story is just as good, although set in a different time and most likely another universe to her other work
third - although i know the narator is Amanda Ronconi i had to double check as she was completly in british mode all the way through and as a brit i didn't find the accents anoying at all (a problem i've found with other american/canadian narators)

quite enjoyable! some big emotional hits with family, and lies and deceit, some dystopian vibes, alternate history, with magic and manners and finishing school, some mystery and romance woven through.
