I was given the audio version of the book in return for an honest review and here it is! This book was about two people from very different worlds who are soul mates. It tells of the twists and turns in their relationship and the challenges that they must try to overcome. It is an emotional, sexy read. There are quite a few sex scenes in the story. I liked the characters, though at times I felt it was a bit unrealistic. However, stories would be boring to me if they were too true to life. The narrator did a good job.

nice story, nice characters, easy to read, but i feel some things have not been explained properly.. starting from the mother situation, to miguel.. i enjoyed it, and if you are thinking to read the book, just dont listen to the last 10 minutes as the author for some absurd reason decided to ruin it all. the narrator has a mature voice and giggles a lot, but overall she has good acting skills.

It’s a great story and well written, the characters are amazing and some more lovable than others. I’m now going to listen to book 2

The storyline itself had so much potential. I just feel like this one fell flat for me.

Where the author could have explored more she didn't and it just seems like that part of the story could have brought more emotion and angst into it. There were times I felt like Emily was trying to be a bada$$ but it just didn't fit her regular personality. Like she would get all uppity about things when she didn't need to.

It's not a horrible read, it just was missing more.

The narrator did a great job.

I found the book has a wide range of emotions reading this book wanting to shake some sense into someone, crying like a baby, then the anger at something happening.
