I didn’t think I’d fall this hard for Nic and Lo, but Caught Up pulled me in fast and didn’t let go. The story follows Lauren, a cam girl who’s built her life on her own terms, and Nico, the mobster who never really let her go even after betraying her years ago. What starts as an unwelcome reunion slowly unravels into something darker, deeper, and unexpectedly tender. The performances by Kasi Hollowell, Jason June, and Teddy Hamilton were SO steamy, making it impossible to stop listening. Expected more I guess. Was a good story, but not as much as lights out. Felt it lacked the humour or plot as the first book. Still ok, good performance by the narrators

This audio and story was saved by Teddy Hamilton! I mean Nick was a great character and performed perfectly but Lauren was so irritating and audio even worse! I hated her, and this happened to me for the first time in my life to dislike a book character!!!
I don’t know why it had to be so woke!!! It ruined the story and the character! I hate when writers preach like the readers are unintelligent !! I don’t know, I kind of feel sorry for Nick to end up with her… LOL

So I heard very mixed reviews on this book but I still got the audiobook before I even finished Lights Out.

I was glad I heard it was different from the first book before I started. While some said it wasn't funny I found that I was still laughing during it but it was more of a dry humour.

I was interested in Nico Junior during lights out who appears as Aly's cousin and part of the mafia that helps her and Josh out.

His story still involves stalking but its also a second chance and Nico has been interested and watcning Lauren for a lot longer.

While Nico is wanting out of his mafia lifestyle Lauren is a cam girl and has no interest in changing that. She's also already had her heart broken by him so tries to keep him at a distance.

I found the characters very intriguing and ended up really loving them. I was happy to see that Aly and Josh also appeared in the story. I stuck with the audio and found this was just as well done as this first and will be one that I recommend. I will definitely read more of the author and cant wait for the next story in the series.
