This was a fabulous book to listen to. I enjoyed seeing how Elliott and Zayden have a second chance after a surprise reunion.

This is my first listen of Austin Bates as a solo author rather than in collaboration with his brother. I have to say that I enjoyed it greatly and have downloaded more in the series.

Both main characters are charismatic and the chemistry between them sizzles. I did find Elliott blew hot and cold in the middle, but blame the pregnancy hormones for that!

The story is well written, fairly low angst (which I like) and a lot of fun in places. Ultimately, they are a very loving couple that I can see going the distance.

The narration is quite bubbly where appropriate, and serious when needed. A lot of voices are needed for all the Sunnydale characters and I loved how Guillaume Dubois seamlessly changed between them. I did find Elliott's voice a tad annoying at first, and it didn't always "soften" when the story asked for it. But it grew on me!!

Loved the story so much, it's not much but it is wow. the struggles of Elliott to know what he wants as a career man and as an omega, the patience of zayden as an alpha, to fight for what he believes in and most of the love, passion. l see myself reading more audiobook.
