it was slow and had a very disappointing ending though. voice actors were good but the characters thrnselves were not particularly engaging or likeable. would not have paid for this story though

There were times when I struggled with some of the voices, just found them a bit annoying and they grated on my nerves. But on the while the narration was okay. I enjoyed learning the two main characters stories and couldn’t wait for the story to unfold. It’s like there are several rivers flowing along till they finally collide and everything becomes clear. Worth a listen.

Gentle easy listening & believable characters. Fascinating small town mentality. I wish there was a sequel to find out what happens next. May be more investigations from the fledgling private detective?
