Summary

Could you save the world if your world was falling apart?

Chris Collins is a CIA deputy director with a history of rogue missions. He's lost his wife, his career, and maybe his friends...but there are new "friends" around every corner. And along with the new friends, some powerful new enemies.

On a bitterly cold night in Washington DC, Chris Collins is heading home to open his favorite bottle of red, when his past walks right by him. A day later, his world falls apart. But he has no time to feel sorry for himself, as he soon realizes that evil forces are at work on an international scale and his country is under attack from within. There’s a job to be done.

In the midst of a personal crisis, he embarks on a global journey that takes him from the rugged coast of Ireland through the heart of Europe to the shimmering deserts of Morocco. He gets more than a little help from the mysterious stranger who keeps showing up in his life, but will it be enough to save innocent lives and bring some of the world's most powerful people to justice?

Includes "Rogue Enemy", a bonus story from the Chris Collins CIA Thriller series.

Goes nowhere.

I stuck with this one to the end, waiting for something to actually happen, but nothing really does. I didn't find it a worth while listen.

Absolute bilge

Poorly executed clichés.. Tripe dull tedious repetitive unbelievable boring stilted garbage.. That should reach the minimum word count

Tedious. No heart.

Just people being constantly attacked. Some hint of a root, a heart to this story would have been appreciated.
No character development. No suspense.
Just constant violence. WTF is this all about? Plot? Nope.

Racist!

Appallingly ametuer writing with eye popping racist stereotypes.
Give it a miss if you have any self respect

Not quite as good as Lee child.

OK but the story seemed disjointed. Cliche and minimalistic setting descriptions.
Probably won't be reading another.

Okay story

The story is okay. I feel like the characters needed more back story in order to make me care more about them.
Since its included in the audible membership its a listen to pass the time.

Feels disjointed

This isn't a bad short story but it feels a bit like a first attempt. The way the plot moves from scenario to scenario and the escapes feel to staged and unreal. The reader makes Sue sound like a James Mason impersonator. I won't download the next but it's good for free.
