Summary

Designed for people with cancer who would like to take an active part in assisting with their own healing.

On the first part of this audio program, which has helped many people shift their thinking patterns when used on a daily basis for 30 days, Louise shows that forgiveness is the key to releasing negative emotions, and resolving diseases such as cancer.

On the second part of the program, Louise presents a loving visualization with soothing music, aimed at changing old attitudes of long-held resentment and dissolving disease. This material is excellent for practitioners and therapists who treat people with cancer.

nice healing recording

it's great for healing.
I would have loved the music to be quieter, as sometimes I can't hear her voice over the piano, otherwise it would have been excellent

Music is too loud

I love Louise Hay but I'm giving four stars because the music is too loud and the organ is harsh on your ears. It would be so much better without the music.

Helps if you have cancer

Dealing with cancer is scary and the author definitely addresses that. The idea that she could could make her cancer disappear with positive imagery - clearly it can't be the stage of cancer I have. This book helped to bring me to a better place but I do find some info too subjective. The meditation/imagery part was helpful. I reccomend this book as a definate read for anyone struggling with cancer.

Changed the way I thought about Cancer

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes

What about Louise L. Hay’s performance did you like?

Everyone always say you must fight the cancer but when you really think about Cancer is your cells that have mutated. To me means I must be something going on with me which is true. I feel this short book identifies that it's about self love. We are our own worst enemy. When I started to truly began to love myself I started to see the change in my cancer and healing truly began. Do think having cancer is bad thing for me? No I learned a lot about myself and how important it is truly love yourself. It's not fight.... it about understanding you.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

#cancerhealing #healyourself

Gentle and powerful

What I love about Louise's Cancer book (and her approach in general) is how gentle and simple it is. Slips past the resistance and the love washes over till it sinks into the parts of us we've tried to hide from it. Lots of grateful tears and electrifying healing, listening to it over and over till I embrace it (and me).

Too much music

Overall absolutely stirring and definItely opens my heart to loving myself and others but the music is too loud and powerful and takes away from Louise Hay's wonderful narration. I will nevertheless listen to the meditation daily but I wish I could do so without the annoying piano accompaniment

Enjoyed the tape.

Just finished the tape so cannot comment on 30 days listening consecutively but cannot imagine anything but positive affects from it. Loved the very end the most.

I need this because I'm at stage 4

I wish the piano had been softer than her voice. I am hard of hearing and missed hearing what she said when the piano drowned her out. It seemed like whoever was playing the piano wasn't tuned into the importance of what she was saying but only heard themselves playing and it's importance. A flute or violin might have been better background music accompaniment.
