I had such a good time listening to this book. CJ Bloom and Connor Crais did an amazing job narrating this the entire way through! While I'm not new to the mafia romance world, this was my first ever cartel romance and I loved it! This was such a fast-paced, enjoyable read where you get hooked instantly into the story.

I really loved our FMC. She's strong, badass and overall just gets on with things without complaining which was REFRESHING in a mafia/cartel romance. Our MMC is KILLER... literally. He's a dark, dangerous grump and I really enjoyed seeing how him and Canary come together and how their romance develops. ALSO, the spice is so good! Only a few scenes but they deliver.

I have to say the only thing that lowered the rating for me personally, was that it is very plot-focused where I prefer my romances to be more character-focused. For this reason the romance did take a backseat at times.

Overall still such an enjoyable read and it was definitely a wild ride!

Another amazing mafia book by tijan. It wasn’t your typical type and I loved that. I loved how Ash involved herself.

I loved how book did different points of views. I just wanted to keep reading.

But the story got better and better.
