No pace, too much padding, undeveloped characters. I usually enjoy John Grisham books, but this is definitely one of his least enjoyable novels.

I’m a big fan of John Grisham and his Camino book series in particular but this story is a class above his other excellent books. A truly fascinating account movingly narrated by the incomparable Whoopie. A privilege to listen to her rendition. Loved it!

All three books were good but the 3rd book had me gripped I had to read it until the end which had me up all night

This book had none of the peril or thrill of usual JG books. I loved the characters and bought into their stories but I was expecting a thriller and none was there. It seemed thin.
