I love the characters, and this is such a great story. Highly, highly recommended. Awesome. 😀❤️

Whilst I found the story engaging I really struggled with the narrator of this book and found her tendency to pronounce every syllable a little irritating to be honest. It has put me off listening to another Susan Mallory books although I would still read them in book form as I do enjoy the storylines. I just don’t gel with this narrator unfortunately but I realise that’s just personal preference.

listened thinking something may happen , sadly apart from the opening chapters nothing did. despite being set in california sun , it never celebrated the place.

the slack writing with no reference to reality, like a sci fi in this regard
