About this listen

A Pandemic is a bad thing – or is it? Could you use it to your advantage?Suppose you had an inclination to start a Totalitarian State?

Suppose you wanted to commit a murder whilst in lockdown?

Who is the angel by the hospital bedside?

How safe is that Amazon package sitting on your doorstep?

What if you’re obsessed with someone you only see on TV?

Should you try and start a relationship just before going into lockdown?

How does the lockdown affect a once famous artist who has slipped into depression and alcoholism?

A short story, five monologues and a novella look at how lockdown relates to different people’s lives.

Wow! Nine stories beautifully written and brilliantly narrated by the author that take us back to those not so Halcyon days of lockdown. A Dystopian beginning is followed by a tale of a newly widowed man unable to attend his wife's funeral; missing Amazon packages and more continue the book, each story with an unexpected twist. My particular favourite is the last story called 'The Artist', well worth waiting for in my opinion. Definitely five stars from me
