About this listen

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that is commonly used to help people understand the thoughts and feelings that influence their behaviors. CBT is commonly used to treat a wide range of disorders, including depression, addictions, anxiety and phobias.

The underlying concept behind CBT is that our thoughts and feelings play a fundamental role in our behavior. For example, a person who spends a lot of time thinking about plane crashes, runway accidents and other air disasters may find themselves avoiding air travel. The goal of cognitive behavior therapy is to teach patients that while they cannot control every aspect of the world around them, they can take control of how they interpret and deal with things in their environment.

Brian Greyson makes this course easy to listen to and understand. I feel i have learned more about CBT from this course than when i was at college! I purchased this as a refresher.

Found this easy to listening on long drives. Having studied CBT (not in depth) as part of a course, this gave me a deeper understanding and added to what I already do.

CBT making sense easily.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This was an informative guide but the narrative frequently refers to tables which are not available for download rendering parts of the narrative incomplete or incomprehensible. There seems to be no way of requesting this missing information.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It would be helpful to have directions as to how to obtain the missing tables.
