I love this author! She keeps me interested from start to finish and always leaves me wanting more of Mattie and Robo who are always in trouble one way or the other

Dislike how one dog & one deputy to run total police is a fantasy not a story. Loved the description of a police dogs duties on and off duty.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book in the series. The characters are developing further, and I’m still rooting for them. Gripping developments that kept me engaged. Nancy Wu’s voice is easy to listen to and her characterisation is good.

I’m not sure how many more books have to have a close friend, family member or neighbour die. It’s like reading a “murder she wrote” book, you don’t want to know the characters as you are either going to die, be kidnapped or accused of murder. I’ll try one more book in the hope it’s going to be a good old mystery that isn’t actually related to the main characters…
